Groupe Beneteau and Groupe Fountaine Pajot strengthen the foundations of their partnership to accelerate marine electrification
Five months after announcing their alliance, the two groups appoint Philippe Hamon as President of their joint structure, confirm JOOOL as the brand for all commercialised solutions, and progressively extend their deployment to new vessels and shipyards.
Philippe Hamon appointed President of Elektra Marine
Groupe Beneteau and Groupe Fountaine Pajot announce the appointment of Philippe Hamon as President of their joint structure. With nearly thirty years of experience in the automotive industry, notably at Valeo, he has worked in a sector shaped by electrification, component standardisation, shared platforms and large-scale industrialisation. His mission will be to support the ramp-up of the business, the structuring of the offering, and its deployment across a growing number of brands and models.
Given my experience in the automotive industry, I am convinced that standardisation and platform strategies make it possible to deliver reliable energy management systems at competitive costs. JOOOL already has significant experience in electrification for the marine sector. The combination of the BENETEAU and FOUNTAINE PAJOT groups will enable us to accelerate standardisation. The systems developed will be available to partner shipyards, giving them access to proven, competitive solutions."

JOOOL, the brand for all commercialised solutions
The two partners confirm JOOOL as the single brand for all solutions commercialised by Elektra Marine. JOOOL combines propulsion, energy storage, conversion and management, interfaces and services within a platform designed to adapt to different vessel sizes and use cases.
This offering is built on an already established technological and operational foundation: 28 years of experience in marine electrification, more than one million hours of operational data at sea, 44 hybrid sailing yachts navigating on five continents, and multiple shipyards already using the technology.
An open platform for the entire market
With its governance in place, its commercial brand affirmed and its applications progressively expanding, the partnership is entering an operational deployment phase. JOOOL aims to offer shipbuilders a shared technical base, adaptable to their models and use cases, and to contribute to structuring the development of marine electrification.
A deployment expanding across models and shipyards
JOOOL solutions cover several electrification configurations low and high voltage built from common technical modules.
- 8 brands: Beneteau, Jeanneau, Lagoon, Lagoon Signature, Excess, Fountaine Pajot, Fountaine Pajot Yachts, Dufour Yachts
- Groupe Beneteau: 4 models covered
- Groupe Fountaine Pajot: 10 models covered
- 3 external shipyards engaged with JOOOL: Leopard Catamaran, RM Yachts and Chantier de l’Arsenal
A service network to support deployment
JOOOL relies on 19 after-sales service points worldwide to provide lasting support to shipbuilders and end users. Through embedded connectivity combining satellite and cellular networks via a secure gateway, the system can be remotely monitored wherever the vessel has a connection. Service teams can consult system status and alarms, analyse parameters and history, adjust certain settings and deploy software updates enabling crew or local partners to be assisted remotely, and where the fault permits, restoring the system to service without an on-site intervention.
