JOOOL systems are available on new builds from selected shipyards and on compatible existing vessels through a structured refit process. Below is an honest overview of what each path involves..
Two paths
New build or refit, choosing your route
The JOOOL system is designed as a factory-integrated solution. Both routes follow the same integration logic; the difference is timing and access to the vessel.
Factory-equipped from the start
JOOOL works with shipyards to integrate the propulsion and energy system during construction. Buyers specify the JOOOL option at the order stage, and the vessel is delivered fully commissioned.
- System engineered into the hull from the design phase
- No post-delivery conversion or dockyard time required
- Factory commissioning and full-system testing before handover
- Warranty covers the complete integrated system
- Available on awide range of models
Integration on an existing vessel
For vessels already in service, JOOOL carries out a compatibility study before any commitment is made. Not every boat qualifies; the study confirms whether the hull, engine room, and electrical architecture can accommodate the system.
- Technical compatibility assessment — typically 4 to 6 weeks
- Custom integration plan developed for the specific vessel
- Carried out by JOOOL-trained service partners
- Dockyard time required: depends on vessel complexity
- Post-installation sea trials and commissioning included
