TECHNICAL FOUNDATIONS
Engineering & Expertise
JOOOL is built on 28 years of marine energy engineering. Each component, from the battery pack to the propulsion unit, is the product of field experience accumulated across professional fleets, production shipyards, and demanding offshore sailing conditions.
APPROACH
The system approach
Hybrid-electric architectures operate within a unified ecosystem: scalable, robust, and ready for integration. From intelligent energy management and high-capacity energy storage to electric propulsion, each component is engineered for absolute reliability at sea.
Industrialised plug-and-play modules simplify installation, reduce wiring, and optimise overall performance. The system arrives pre-wired and factory-tested. On-site work is reduced to mechanical installation, cable connections, and commissioning. No specialist high-voltage certification is required at the yard.
APPROACH
Marine electrical engineering
JOOOL components are specified for the marine environment. IP69 on the PowerPod. IP68 on the OneBox and all high-voltage connectors. IP65 on battery packs. HVIL and IMD safety systems standard on every installation.
LiFePO4 chemistry selected for its thermal stability, cycle life, and certification pathway. These are engineering decisions made by a team that understands what electrical failure means at sea, far from technical support. Every specification reflects that constraint.

EXPERIENCE
Field data and continuous improvement
The energy management software is trained on real operational data from vessels in service worldwide, across Mediterranean charter operations, Atlantic passages, and tropical liveaboard profiles. This data informs the charging algorithms, generator management logic, and autonomy forecasting. The system is updated over the air as improvements are validated in the field.
EXPERIENCE
Industrial precision
For nearly three decades, Alternatives Energies has refined marine power systems with the same rigour and technical vision. With JOOOL, this expertise sets a new benchmark for modern yacht construction, where advanced technology meets industrial precision.
